Alburgh/Fairfield:

Herbert E. Aulis, 81, formerly of Alburgh and more recently of Fairfield, died Monday, Feb. 18, 2013 at NMC in St. Albans.

Born in Tomifobia, PQ, Aug. 29, 1931, he was a son of Samuel & Ethna (Powers) Aulis.

He was predeceased by his wife Esther (Twombly) Aulis. Herb was a retired farmer who enjoyed gardening and fishing.

He leaves two sons. David W. Aulis of Barre and Ervin A. Aulis and companion, Angela Allmon of Fairfield.

A gathering with a sharing of memories will be held Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013 at the home of Ervin and Angela, 1735 Rugg Rd., Fairfield, VT beginning at 1:00 PM
